Segurança e Ambiente has achieved a significant milestone in road safety, reaching 40.000 interventions on Portugal's roads.

In collaboration with various partners (municipalities, firefighters, and security forces), Segurança e Ambiente is committed to reducing to zero the number of road accidents related to absent or ineffective post-accident road cleaning.

This ambitious goal reflects our dedication to ensuring safer and more sustainable roads for all users. Following a road accident, whenever solid and/or liquid waste (glass, plastics, gasoline, oil) remains on the roads, security forces and firefighters in 88 Portuguese municipalities under protocol with our entity activate our 24/7 Operational Call Center.
