Segurança e Ambiente (SA) participated in the 1st International Conference of EBEN Portugal, held on 26 and 27 February 2026 at Universidade Europeia, in Lisbon. The event, held under the theme “Creating Value with Values”, brought together experts, academics and representatives from various organizations to reflect on the role of ethics in the creation of long-term value.

EBEN Portugal is officially represented in the country by the Portuguese Business Ethics Association (APEE), of which Segurança e Ambiente is a partner. In this context, SA had the opportunity to take part in this important moment of debate and knowledge sharing, actively contributing to the discussion on how organizations can effectively create value based on strong ethical principles.

On the second day of the conference, Segurança e Ambiente presented the topic “Ethics, Road Safety and Environmental Responsibility in Post-Accident Interventions”, sharing the company’s practical experience in the field. The presentation highlighted the importance of ethical conduct in operations, the mitigation of environmental impacts and the responsibility assumed in every intervention.

In a business environment increasingly driven by technology and rapid performance demands, SA reinforced its conviction that ethics must remain at the core of decision-making. Transparency, responsibility, environmental awareness and a long-term vision are not abstract principles — they are operational commitments that guide Segurança e Ambiente’s daily work.

Participation in this international conference, over two days of reflection and dialogue, represented a particularly important moment to reaffirm the commitment to the ethical dimension within organizations and to the development of an approach that combines performance, responsibility and the creation of sustainable value.
