Eurosistra Portugal, Lda., through its Safety and Environment brand, renewed its commitment to collaboration with the Municipality of Montijo on May 11.

Safety and Environment has officially joined the Yellow May Movement 2026, reinforcing its commitment to promoting road safety, preventing accidents, and protecting human life on Portuguese roads.

Safety and Environment was present at the seminar “The Role of Municipal Civil Protection Services in Society,” held on April 15 in Póvoa de Lanhoso, as part of the 4th Municipal Civil Protection Week. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, brought together specialists, technicians, and operational staff from different areas of Civil Protection, creating a space for reflection and sharing on the main challenges currently faced by municipal services and the entities working on the ground. Throughout the seminar, relevant topics for the sector were addressed, namely technological innovation, risk communication, artificial intelligence, and operational coordination, in a context of sharing experiences and best practices among entities. The participation of Safety and Environment helped strengthen institutional proximity with various Civil Protection partners and stakeholders, underscoring the importance of cooperation and coordination between entities for a more effective, coordinated, and efficient response to incidents and community needs.

Segurança e Ambiente joined the National Road Safety Campaign – Easter 2026, promoted by the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR), reinforcing its commitment to raising awareness about the adoption of safe and responsible behaviors on Portuguese roads. The campaign comes at a time of year marked by a significant increase in travel throughout the country, a period in which there is also a higher risk of road accidents. In this context, the initiative aims to alert drivers to the importance of preventing risky behaviors, namely speeding, fatigue, and distractions while driving. By joining this campaign, Segurança e Ambiente reinforces its mission to actively contribute to the promotion of road safety and the protection of all road users, raising awareness of the importance of more mindful and responsible driving.

Safety and Environment met on March 11, 2026, with the Faro Territorial Command of the National Republican Guard (GNR), in a working session dedicated to strengthening operational coordination and institutional cooperation in the context of post-accident response.

Safety and Environment (SE) participated in the 1st EBEN Portugal International Conference, which took place on February 26 and 27, 2026, at the European University in Lisbon. The event, under the theme “Creating value with values,” brought together experts, academics, and representatives from various organizations to reflect on the role of ethics in creating lasting value.
